With this new year comes a new resolution. To write more. I remember there was a time when I used to love writing about mundane things on my blog - like what I had for breakfast and who is pissing me off in college. Haha. I don't know when I decided to stop talking about such lovely trivial things. I love to talk about random things, and I have not done that here in so long. I looked back at some of my older posts, and I could sense the gloom dripping from them. I need to make this blog a happy place again. I can't lose my mojo (oh that over-used term)!
So I am going to participate in my first-ever blogathon, which means I will be posting every day all through this month. That's a big commitment. I have never done that before. But I think it will push me to think and start writing again. It will be my way back into old-school blogging.
I love how some people can remain anonymous and pour out about their lives, their thoughts, their fears, their little quirks on their blog. A chronicle of their life, instead of just a place where they opine. I think there is a strange comfort in talking to people you don't know. It is so much easier to open up to someone you are not going to meet again. I have met many such people, a conversation or two and you feel so 'connected'. In the next moment both of you are on your way, happy that your paths crossed at some point.
Here's to more blogging and more connection!
I am going to see you again tomorrow!

I almost posted this today. That I resolve to go on a blog marathon. Just before hitting publish, somehow I stopped and then forgot. I don't think I can do it! Glad you are doing it though! :) all the best!
